Responsibilities
The Travel Radiation Therapist will be responsible for:
- Administering prescribed radiation treatments to patients with cancer or other diseases.
- Positioning patients correctly using advanced imaging and treatment equipment.
- Operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Certified Radiation Therapist (CRT) or Registered Radiation Therapist (RRT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
