Key Responsibilities:
Postoperative Care:
The OR Nurse provides ongoing care and support to patients as they recover from anesthesia, monitoring their vital signs and ensuring stability before transfer to the recovery room or another care unit.
Certifications and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a current state RN license in good standing and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
