About the Role
As a Diagnostic Sleep Study Technician with Wellspring Nurse Source, you will work closely with sleep specialists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. You will maintain accurate patient records, ensure the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of polysomnographic equipment, and educate patients on sleep health and provide guidance on proper sleep hygiene practices.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat sleep disorders.
- Conduct sleep studies and analyze data to identify sleep patterns and abnormalities.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of sleep study results and test results.
- Ensure the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of polysomnographic equipment.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, Polysomnography, or a related field.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
