Main Job Duties
- Patient Safety and Care: Prioritize patient safety, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and minimize exposure to both patients and staff.
- Imaging Techniques: Familiarize yourself with various imaging techniques, adjust scanner settings as needed, and maintain optimal image quality.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate image interpretation and coordinated patient care.
- Maintenance and Quality Control: Regularly inspect and maintain CT equipment, report issues to the appropriate personnel, and participate in ongoing education and training.
Desired Qualifications
- Education and Certifications: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Experience and Skills: Previous experience as a CT Technologist, knowledge of radiation safety protocols, ability to produce high-quality images, and strong communication skills.
