This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Prepare and assist patients before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status during procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, interventional cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient procedural care
- Administer medications, including sedation and pain management, as prescribed for procedures such as angioplasty and stent placement
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) certification preferred
