At Wellspring Nurse Source, we are dedicated to providing exceptional respiratory care services to patients in need. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions through diagnostic tests and physical examinations.
- Administer therapeutic treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator support.
- Monitor and manage patients on mechanical ventilation, adjusting settings as needed to ensure proper oxygenation and ventilation.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and equipment usage, such as inhalers or CPAP machines.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
