About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a surgical technologist in a leading healthcare facility. As a CVOR surgical tech, you will play a vital role in the success of our cardiovascular surgery team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain the operating room, including preparing equipment and sterilizing instruments.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
- Help maintain a safe and efficient operating environment, adhering to hospital policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training.
- Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or required for some facilities.
