Key Responsibilities
- Procedural Support: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless execution of minimally invasive procedures.
- Patient Safety and Education: Prioritize patient safety, administer contrast media as directed, and provide education to patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot interventional radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Certifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Advanced certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience: Previous experience in a cath lab, radiology department, or interventional radiology setting is preferred.
