In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care, assessing and planning patient interventions, implementing and evaluating care plans, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. You will also be expected to coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals, educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care, and promote patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state, an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience working in a similar setting, preferably as a Med-Surg RN, is highly desirable. Your ability to work independently, think critically, and prioritize tasks effectively will also be essential to your success in this role.
