- Providing preoperative care, including assessing patients' medical histories and performing physical assessments.
- Assisting the surgical team by providing sterile instruments and supplies.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs during surgery and providing postoperative care.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Licensure: Current state RN license in good standing.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
