Responsibilities
- Pre-Procedural Preparation: Set up sterile fields, instruments, and imaging equipment according to strict protocols to ensure a safe and efficient procedure.
- Imaging and Procedure Support: Assist physicians during procedures, monitor patient vitals, and document procedural details and imaging data.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Regularly maintain and troubleshoot interventional radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Advanced certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience: Previous experience in a cath lab, radiology department, or interventional radiology setting is preferred.
