Role Summary:
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray equipment and other imaging devices to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray equipment and other imaging devices to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position patients correctly and explain imaging procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret X-ray images.
- Maintain detailed patient records, including imaging data and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in imaging technology, radiation safety standards, and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience as a Radiology Technologist.
