Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the dietary department
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents/patients
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Train and supervise dietary staff members
- Monitor food production and service to ensure quality and timeliness
- Collaborate with other departments to meet the dietary needs of residents/patients
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies, and order as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to residents/patients and their families
Requirements:
- Certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
