Facility: WellStar Medical Group Radiation Oncology
Wellstar Medical Group has a full-time ACNP or PA opening with our Radiation Oncology group, based in Marietta, GA. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8a-5p.
This position typically requires working with patients in a clinic setting and assisting with IP consults during business hours.
In this role you will:
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patient's medical record in ambulatory practice. Clinical responsibilities require thorough attention to detail.
- Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
- Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
- Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.
- Partner with supervising physician to ensure all patients receive well-coordinated care
Qualifications
Georgia licensed APP. ACNP or PA only. Experience in oncology/radiation oncology care preferred.
