Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Charge Nurse to join our team at Kennestone Hospital. As a Clinical Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the unit and ensuring the successful delivery of care.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the daily activities of the unit on an assigned shift
- Practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of practices that ensure excellence in patient care
- Assist in the growth and development of team members
- Be a resource to other areas and opportunity to learn about operational functionality and hospital/facility awareness
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing as an Associate Degree/Diploma Nurse
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
- Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia
- National certification in area of specialty preferred
Requirements
- One year of nursing experience required, two years preferred
- Experience as relief charge with clinical expertise preferred
