Position Requirements: Vocational or technical training or degree with Pharmacy Technician certification from an accredited program. 2 years or more of experience in pharmacy as a technician. CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) acquired from PTCB or NHA. GA or SC Pharmacy Technician License, depending on job location. Skills needed: Strong communication. Organization. Prioritization. Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 3 years or more of experience in medication assistance or similar role in a physician's office, medical center or pharmacy. Experience with prior authorizations, patient assistance programs, co-pay assistance programs & foundation programs. Experience with insurance, claim adjudication, & claim appeals. Experience with Pioneer & Cerner.
