This part-time night shift opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to join our oncology department at Cobb Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process, using evidence-based practice and analytical thinking, to provide individualized patient care.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to population-specific characteristics.
- Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve goals, ensuring timely documentation and promoting a respectful clinical environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, utilizing diverse communication methods and fiscally responsible practices.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities to promote safe, quality patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
- Current licensure as a Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact, Basic Life Support, or BLS - Instructor certification.
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience, preferably in oncology; completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours required.
