Core Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation), ensuring individualized, evidence-based practices.
- Critical Thinking: Use strong critical thinking skills to manage complex patient situations and deliver safe, effective care.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and perform pre-procedure safety checks, adhering to organizational policies.
- Patient Engagement: Collaborate with patients and their families to set goals and provide ongoing education.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure patient safety by verifying identities, complying with protocols, and completing necessary documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Flexibility to meet departmental needs.
- Complete ongoing professional education and competency assessments.
- Mentor and precept fellow nurses and students, fostering a supportive work environment.

Patient Education:

Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN license (Single State or Multi-State Compact) and required certifications (BLS, NRP).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in maternity nursing or related field.
