Job Title: RN Clinical Nurse
The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care.
This role requires working on our Cardiac Telemetry Unit on weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) from 7am-7pm, with a total of 36 hours per week.

- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Always partner with the patient and significant others using appropriate methods for setting and purpose.
- Practice using current clinical practice standards.
- Teamwork and Collaboration
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by practicing in a manner that is fiscally responsible.
- Participate and support performance improvement inclusive of all stakeholders.
- Professional Development and Initiative
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessment.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses.

- Promote Evidence-Based practice, nursing research and performance improvement in nursing.
- Uphold all health care system/organizational policies and procedures.
- Proactively plan for the care of patients across the care continuum.
- Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- License: Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Certification: Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
- Experience: Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience required
