A Brief Overview
The Supervisor, Centralized Business Office is responsible for the day-to-day workflow and supervision of one area of the Centralized Business Office. This includes working as and monitoring performance of that assigned area. The Supervisor is expected to be a subject matter expert in the area. Direct supervision of assigned staff to include: coaching, mentoring, monitoring, evaluating, and utilization of progressive discipline as required.

- Coordinates and monitors the daily work requirements of staff in the assigned area. 50%
- Reviews daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required to ensure staff performance meets or exceeds established KPI metrics as dictated be CBO Leadership team. 25%
- Analyzes and assists in resolution of more difficult tasks and provides feedback to CBO Leadership. 15%
- Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to ensure assigned area meets or exceeds established CBO KPI metrics. 5%
- Monitors and coaches staff to ensure team complies with AU Health mission, vision, and values. 5%
Qualifications
- High School Diploma General Required and(
- GED General Required or
- Bachelors General Preferred or)
- Minimum 3 years Healthcare reimbursement. Required
- Minimum 5 years Hospital or Professional Billing. Preferred
- CPC - Cert Prof Coder
