Job Title :

RN Clinical Nurse - Nights

Job Specialty :

RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift :

Night Shift : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM, every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours : N / A

Experience :

Less than 1 year, with direct patient care experience preferred

License :

RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)

Certifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Must-Have :

Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Excellent time management and critical thinking skills

Job Description :

Performs the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.

Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics and adapts service delivery to reflect cultural diversity.

Partners with patients and significant others to ensure care aligns with patient goals.

Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.

Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration by promoting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.

Participates in performance improvement and supports research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.

Completes all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education.

Serves as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified future workforce.

Promotes evidence-based practice, nursing research, and evaluates patient care products.

Complies with all healthcare system policies and standards of work.

Proactively plans for patient care across the continuum and supports efficient resource use.

Participates in developing protocols and procedures with the care team to achieve best practice outcomes.
