Job Description :
The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. The RN practices in a clinical environment that supports shared governance and evidence-based practices.
- Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practice and analytical thinking
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adaptable to cultural diversity and patient demographics
- Partner with patients and significant others, ensuring effective communication and making the patient's goals central to the plan of care
- Coordinate safe, quality patient care and maintain timely documentation using diverse communication methods
- Demonstrate teamwork by promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment
- Participate in shared governance and support performance improvement initiatives
- Complete all professional competency assessments, mandatory education, and population-specific education
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for nurses and staff, modeling professional practice
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement
- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, collaborating with care managers and healthcare teams
- Support efficient and effective use of resources and perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all health system policies, standards, and code of conduct
