We are a non-profit community organization that offers a wide range of services for every phase of life, from children to older adults
The Mental Health Co-Responder will ensure that each client undergoing a mental health crisis receives the proper person-centered treatment that they need. To perform in this role, the Mental Health Co-Responder will work with the local police and other emergency personnel to ensure the proper treatment is provided to clients.
What we're looking for :
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or other Behavioral Health related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Crisis Intervention or behavioral health required
Knowledge of community resources, crisis de- escalation / intervention techniques (preferred)
An understanding of trauma informed, recovery-oriented, and evidence-based practices (preferred).
Experience with populations receiving behavioral health treatment, including services performed with individuals with MI / SMI, SUD’s, neurodiverse conditions, and psychosocial needs (poverty, homelessness, justice involvement, etc.). (preferred)
- Shift is Sunday - Wednesday, 12pm - 10pm
