What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Wellstone?
Job Description:
The Maintenance Worker helps set the tone for a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, guests, and staff. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings and the surrounding grounds. Duties include mopping/waxing and vacuuming floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, dusting furniture, collecting and emptying trash to ensure a clean space. This position is full-time Monday-Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM.
What you'll be doing:
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Clean bathrooms and common areas
- Empty trash in offices and all over the building
- Clean up incidental accidents throughout the Center
- Wash off chairs, disinfect areas as needed
- Dusting
- Clean windows
- Stock bathrooms and break rooms with towels, paper, etc.
- Provide janitorial supplies to staff such as tissues, trash bags, etc.
- Assist in moving items to storage or from storage
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
What we're looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
