What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Associate position at Wellsville Carpet Town Inc?
Ashley | The Wellsville Group’s Aurora facility is a brand-new building offering distribution services to all of our Northeast Ohio locations. It houses some corporate offices and contains a newly opened small-scale Clearance Center. The Clearance Center is open to the public 4 days a week. As a Retail Associate you will be responsible for maintaining a visually appealing shopping environment, offering quality customer service experience and addressing all guests’ questions and concerns. Additionally, you will assist with customer pick-ups and distribution center operations during downtime and during all work hours when the clearance center is not open for business.
What You'll Do
- Assist guests in the Clearance Center from start to finish by understanding needs and satisfying them and assisting with customer pickups
- Provide recommendations, offer options and answer questions
- Maintain a visually appealing showroom, clean, move furniture and create signage
- Maintain the cash drawer by recording cash received, providing accurate change and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Assist with distribution center operations during downtime
