Job Summary:
MDS 3.0 Coordinator
Long-term medical care facility located in Wellsville, MO, has a challenging opportunity for an experienced 3.0 MDS Coordinator. Position will involve management of the MDS processes in accordance with government regulations and company policies, coordinating the care plan process with focus on maintaining excellent care for the residents. Requirements include an unencumbered Missouri RN or LPN license with preferably 2-5 years’ experience in long-term care, knowledge of Medicare regulations, experience using MDS 3.0 and a commitment to Total Quality Management.
The position offers an attractive salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually, group health and dental insurance, 401K Retirement Plan, Paid Time off (PTO) and more.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring compliance with Medicare and MDS guidelines.
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation in EMR systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and discharge planning.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive patient information.
- Provide nursing support and education to LPNs and other staff as needed.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in nursing care.
