Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will be expected to:
- Develop solutions with clients, utilizing a strong technical understanding and application of downhole tools and equipment
- Propose solutions formally to customers through presentations, bids, tender submissions, proposals, and informally through networks, industry events, relationships and discussions
- Deliver annual revenue targets through disciplined execution of the sales plan and the company growth strategies.
- Drive new business growth and build critical mass within agreed time frames in target regions
- Actively manage and report on the achievement of business development targets as well as industry performance and trends
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Petroleum Engineering or other Engineering disciplines
- Completed a front-line operations management position with between 3- and 6 years' experience in the oilfield service industry
- Worked in the field for a minimum of 3 years as an Electric Line, Intervention or Completions Engineer
- Strong practical and technical understanding of Well Construction and Completions
- Passionate about providing cutting-edge technical and innovative solutions to customers
- Must be teachable, coachable, willing to push boundaries and challenge conventional thinking
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio software. CRM knowledge is an asset
- Fluent in English language – both written and verbal
- Must be authorized to live and work in the USA
