MDS Coordinator for Long-Term Care Unit
Position: MDS Coordinator
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Boulder City, Nevada
Pay: $37 - $41 per hour plus benefits
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MDS Coordinator to join our Long-Term Care unit within a hospital setting in Boulder City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the MDS assessment process to ensure accuracy and compliance within the Long-Term Care unit.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to resident needs.
- Evaluate existing processes to identify areas for improvement and address any gaps.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to staff, providing guidance on best practices related to MDS and care planning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an MDS Coordinator in a long-term care or hospital setting.
- Familiarity with care plans and the MDS assessment process.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
