Your Role
As Medical Director, you'll oversee and support a multidisciplinary team of general practitioners, physical therapists, and acupuncture providers while actively engaging in clinical care, leadership, and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership to a team of 13 midlevel healthcare providers
- Serve as a mentor and educator to medical students, guiding them across a broad spectrum of diagnoses and treatments
- Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement
- Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care is delivered to all patients
- Monitor and improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of clinical staff
- Oversee adherence to clinic policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices
- Represent the clinic in external partnerships and community health initiatives
- Maintain a limited clinical caseload as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
- Proven leadership and/or medical education experience
- Strong commitment to mentoring, quality improvement, and patient-centered care
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a small clinic setting
- Active California medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Preferred Background
- Experience in outpatient, primary care, or rural health settings
- Passion for holistic and integrative care approaches
