Your Role

As Medical Director, you'll oversee and support a multidisciplinary team of general practitioners, physical therapists, and acupuncture providers while actively engaging in clinical care, leadership, and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and leadership to a team of 13 midlevel healthcare providers
• Serve as a mentor and educator to medical students, guiding them across a broad spectrum of diagnoses and treatments
• Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care is delivered to all patients
• Monitor and improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of clinical staff
• Oversee adherence to clinic policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices
• Represent the clinic in external partnerships and community health initiatives
• Maintain a limited clinical caseload as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
• Proven leadership and/or medical education experience
• Strong commitment to mentoring, quality improvement, and patient-centered care
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a small clinic setting
• Active California medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

Preferred Background

• Experience in outpatient, primary care, or rural health settings
• Passion for holistic and integrative care approaches
