Position Overview:
The Physician will provide direct patient care in an occupational healthcare setting, focusing on efficient and effective medical services. Responsibilities include leading the treatment of workplace injuries, collaborating with therapists and specialists, managing clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with medical regulations. This role emphasizes creating a collaborative environment and enhancing patient experiences through streamlined processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care as the Primary Treating Physician.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and expedite recovery.
- Manage and mentor clinical staff while maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with employers about patient conditions and significant clinical changes.
- Foster teamwork and continuous clinical improvement within the center.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical program with an unrestricted medical license in Arizona.
- Board certification or eligibility in relevant medical specialties.
- BLS and AED certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- Knowledge of occupational medicine regulations and clinical operations.
