Pay: $65 - $70 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team at our nursing home in San Pablo, CA. Our facility is committed to providing exceptional care to our residents, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for residents.
- Educate residents and their families on treatment plans and communication strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in speech therapy, particularly in geriatric care.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for working with the elderly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
