We are seeking a Skilled and Experienced Surgery Tech to support our surgical team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sterile Processing (SPD) and operating room procedures, and must be flexible with hours based on surgical schedules.
Job Title: Surgery Tech
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up sterile instruments and supplies
- Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring efficient and safe procedures
- Maintain and monitor sterile fields
- Perform proper Sterile Processing (SPD) including cleaning, disinfecting, packaging, and sterilizing instruments
- Monitor and restock surgical inventory
- Follow all safety, infection control, and sterilization protocols
- Work collaboratively with the surgical and nursing team to deliver outstanding patient care
- Help with room turnover between procedures
Qualifications:
- Extensive SPD experience (Sterile Processing Department) required
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
- Strong skills in aseptic technique and infection control
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Pay Rate:
- $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience
