Building Maintenance Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Building Engineer to join our team at Welltower Inc. (NYSE:WELL). As a key member of our Outpatient Medical portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the value of our healthcare properties.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal functionality, safety, and appearance of our outpatient medical facilities. You will work closely with our Operations and Real Estate Managers to prioritize and track Preventative Maintenance tasks and work order management for assigned properties.

You will also provide input to the Real Estate Manager for the formulation of building budgets and assist in monitoring and coordinating capital improvement, tenant build out, and property renovation projects as required.

In addition, you will schedule and perform general building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair. You will complete and assist associates in a timely and accurate production of all required paperwork and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Operations and Real Estate Managers as required by performing special requests/projects
• Assist the Operations Manager in prioritizing and tracking Preventative Maintenance tasks and work order management for assigned properties
• Provide input to the Real Estate Manager for the formulation of building budgets
• Provide initial and ongoing training of Associates as directed by managers
• Work with Sub-Contractors and Vendors to ensure work is aligned with Welltower expectations
• Assist in monitoring and coordinating capital improvement, tenant build out, and property renovation projects as required
• Schedule and perform general building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair
• Complete and assist associates in a timely and accurate production of all required paperwork and reporting
