Our Dallas office is growing, and we are building a dynamic acquisitions team to drive value-add and opportunistic investments, ground-up developments, and distressed credit strategies across our core asset classes. As an Associate within our Real Estate Investments team, this is a unique opportunity to join Welltower as an early member of our fastest-expanding office, where you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and play a key role in shaping the team's growth and direction.
Associates are responsible for analyzing potential investments in seniors housing, outpatient medical facilities, age-restricted multifamily, and build-to-rent. Key responsibilities include underwriting potential acquisition and development opportunities; operator/client credit analysis; review and analysis of business plans, management teams, budgets and financial statements, both at the company-wide and individual property or portfolio level. The Investment Team is at the forefront of the growth of the business and has ownership of working on all new investments from the initial valuation and deal structuring through detailed due diligence and closing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Acquisitions Associate, you will:
- Identify, analyze, and execute value-add and opportunistic acquisitions.
- Support ground-up development projects and distressed credit investments.
- Work across asset classes, including seniors housing, multifamily/build-to-rent, and skilled nursing facilities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and play a critical role in deal execution.

TRAVEL
Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience: A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in commercial real estate or healthcare investing, lending, investment banking, or investment sales.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field required. MBA preferred.
