Job Summary
As our Human Resources Generalist, you’ll work alongside the Human Resources Office Manager to ensure daily HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. From championing employee relations and supporting the hiring process to managing compliance initiatives, you’ll play a key role in creating a productive, positive workplace at Welsh Equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact to address employee concerns, coordinate solutions, and maintain a respectful work environment.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Post job openings, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Separations & Compliance: Manage termination procedures in line with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Temporary Staffing Coordination: Oversee relationships with staffing agencies and ensure temporary hires integrate seamlessly.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with enrollment and benefit-related questions, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- HR Recordkeeping: Maintain organized and confidential employee files, documents, and HR data.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate on payroll processing by providing timely employee updates and changes.
- Compliance & Safety: Support OSHA and safety-related tracking, helping to foster a culture of workplace well-being.
- Training & Communication: Help coordinate training sessions and effectively communicate policy updates and resources.
- General HR Support: Take on additional administrative tasks to keep our HR operations efficient and compliant.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in human resources or administrative support is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR software systems.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
