Welspun has immediate openings for NDTs.
Welspun’s Little Rock facilities are state-of-the-art and one of its kind in technology for producing pipes for the oil and gas industry. The HFW mill is a fully automatic and integrated mill capable of producing pipes ranging in diameter 6 5/8th inches to 20” and wall thickness from 0.158” to 0.551”.

Job Summary: Ensuring plan production, inspection & testing activities are performed. Reviewing of station report & test data. Performing Radiography Inspection at assigned Digital S-ray or RTR station. Also interpret and evaluate results and make decision on defective part.
Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities:
· Perform periodical calibration at assigned station and record it on daily log/examination report.
· Conduct Radiographic inspection and Ultrasonic Inspection at IUT and RTR station.
· Review and interpret images with respect to approved work instruction, process chart and API 5L
· Appropriate disposition of defects/imperfections and identification of affected areas in pipe and SAP to indicate proper disposition.
· To ensure that all plan production, inspection & testing are performed as per approved Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), processes charts & work Inspection in their shift
· Initiating, reviewing, analyzing & closing Non Conformance Report (NCR) of raw material, finished products & audit NCRs.
· Ensure correctness of machine parameter by doing calibrations as per work instruction.
· Ensure machine setting and preventive maintenance of the Digital X-ray and IUT/RTR.
· Tracking rework pipe so that desired disposition and re-inspection has been performed.
· To ensure traceability of coils & pipes throughout the process.
· To witness and ensure welding and test parameter are as per approved Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) and approved work instruction.
· Analysis of rework data & implementation of statistical process control tool.
· To witness & review calibration of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment and verification of calibration of measuring instrument.
Education/Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Metallurgy/Mechanical or Science; 3-5 years of experience of Inspection & Quality Control activities in Pipe/Steel or heavy metal industries
