We are currently seeking a new Clerical Specialist on our Legal team in Downtown Philadelphia. Our Clerical Specialist job may be a great next step in your administrative or legal career!
The primary responsibilities of the Clerical Specialist include researching and locating consumer information online, making outbound calls to follow up on legal executions and verify employment, process inbound and outbound written communications, and updating and closing accounts. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
• Receives inbound calls/emails and directs the requests to the appropriate person/internal department.
• Contacts internal and/or external customers, attorneys and courts via mail, fax, telephone, or e-mail to provide or
request needed documents, missing information, court costs and to provide status updates.
• May prepare routine, department-specific documents and correspondence.
• May review and assemble documents and materials for court proceedings, ensuring proper signatures are obtained,
documents are notarized, appropriate exhibits are attached, etc.
• Sets up and/or closes accounts according to established procedures.
• Sorts, files, locate, and distribute records, processes mail, photocopies and faxes documents.
• Performs computer data entry to update account files.
• Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
• Additional duties as requested or required.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay is $20.00 or more (based upon experience)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 6 months relevant business experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Skill with Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
