This position is onsite in our Cleveland office with possibility of working a hybrid schedule (in office and work from home) after onboarding and training.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains to streamline and enhance financial processes.
- Lead and support the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Act as a key contributor to month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of financial models to support strategic initiatives.
- Execute day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with a focus on Microsoft Great Plains.
- Strong understanding of FP&A principles and practices.
- Solid foundation in staff accounting procedures and GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools including SQL.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
