Position Purpose : Under general supervision, the Senior Manager of Case Management is responsible for developing and delivering plans, programs, and training that continually improve quality and productivity in Case Management units in multiple locations.Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks : Participates in long-range planning for Case Management, including participation and input into the development of the annual budget.Assists with the development of policies and procedures for Case Management, including updating and maintaining policy and procedure manuals.Assists in creating strategies to improve the overall quality and productivity of Case Management and makes recommendations for developing and implementing new programs.Coordinates the development and distribution of management reports to assess and enhance department performance, including all capacity, production, and financial based activities.Identifies opportunities to use technology to better support client to reduce costs and makes recommendation for automation.Directs and coordinates technology-related projects, including implementation and testing for new programs, for the Case Management units.Researches industry and competitor information to establish performance benchmarks and develop standard metrics.Coordinates department activities at assigned locations.Assists in the development of training programs and documentation for Case Management.Conducts special audits for the Department, as assigned.Ensures internal clients receive performance reports as requested.Ensures that client and Court related issues are addressed in a timely mannerMaintains Court(s) information in Master Maintenance, including all court costs, addresses, and form requirements.Coordinates site level capacity and facility planning for Case Management.Controls the flow of legal actions to respective work units.Evaluates volume and capacity to ensure appropriate levels of staffing and supervision are available to effectively operate the department.Reviews processes and workflows and makes adjustments necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Conducts departmental meetings to ensure effective communication of information with all department employees.Provides leadership and guidance to staff in fulfilling their responsibilities.Participates in the interview process and recommends candidates for positions.Ensures employees receive appropriate training, equipment, and supplies to perform effectively.Ensures employees receive regular performance evaluations to include a development plan as necessary and that appropriate performance documentation is completed.Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.Additional duties as requested or required.Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalency in years of experience.5 to 7 years prior experience in a related field.Excellent customer service, mathematical, problem-solving and analytical skills required.Excellent communication and computer skills required using MS Office Suite.Good organizational, planning, and time management abilities.Knowledge of the legal process.Present a positive, professional image of the Firm.Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.Work Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit at the work station for extended periods.
