Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks :
Work with a team of analysts, and off-shore developers to build custom programs for ETL.
Document existing process, data elements, data flows and business rules around the Event changes.
Establish end-to-end mapping of business processes and functional flows.
Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures strong knowledge and experience with T-SQL and PowerShell scripting.
Be the primary point of contact between IT and Business for responsible business functions.
Support business requirement activities by providing end-to-end system data analysis concerning functional requirements, data validation and data feeds.
Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the developer team.
Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
Additional duties as requested or required.
Qualifications :
Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems with at least 5 to 7 years of related experience; or in lieu of a degree at least 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Systems consulting experience is desired.
Strong knowledge of multiple industry software development methodologies, including Agile, RUP and Waterfall at a minimum.
Working knowledge of any Microsoft data technologies (MS SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, Business Intelligence, or Analyst Services)
Understanding of Enterprise Data Warehousing technologies (Kimball or Inmon).
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents. Ability to provide recommendations on systems and applications designs based on analysts of business unit requirements. The ability to effectively present information to IT management, technical groups, and / or project teams.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strong facilitation skills.
Excellent organization and management skills
Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff
Experience with Excel and Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint)
Be an analytic, creative, and business focused problem solver
IT programs development or design experience or equivalent
