ROLE SUMMARY
Welty provides professional construction management services, specializing in Lean Construction for clients in a variety of energy, healthcare, commercial, education, and hospitality markets nationwide. KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead accounting person on our portfolio of commercial and mixed-use properties
· Responsible for analyzing future project returns to prioritize project approvals
· Improve system/process workflows to increase efficiency.
· Administrator of property software, Appfolio.
· Assist Treasurer in preparing and updating cash forecast for real estate entities
· Manage bank loan payments and compliance requirements.
· Assist in preparing yearly budgets for all real estate entities.
· Assist in year-end audit and tax preparation for outside accounting firms
· Process accounts payable and receivables for all real estate entities
· Monthly financial closings and reporting
· Special projects as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
· Self‐motivated with the ability to work as a member of a strong team with little supervision
· Excellent organizational and communication skills with a positive team‐oriented attitude
· Detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
· Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of Seven (7) years of Accounting experience, focus in real estate a plus
· Experience with Appfolio or related property accounting software
· Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Finance/Accounting
