- Role:
As a Senior Underground (UG) Transmission Line Engineer, you will lead projects utilizing a team of engineers and designers to provide design services for our utility clients.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of underground transmission line projects with a team of engineers and designers.
- Design complex underground transmission line systems, including duct bank design and cable pulling calculations.
- Coordinate with cable suppliers to specify line components.
- Oversee the development of construction specifications and drawings as required per project.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of all work product.
- Perform site visits when necessary.
- Provide mentoring to junior team members.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals.
- Interface with client’s engineering groups and project management teams to provide regular and timely updates.
- Participate in the preparation of training materials.

- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering at an ABET accredited university
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Underground Transmission Line Engineer
- PE License and NCEES Registration strongly preferred
- Familiarity with applicable design codes and standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
