As a Senior Underground (UG) Transmission Line Engineer , you will lead projects utilizing a team of engineers and designers to provide design services for our utility clients. This role is remote with travel to client site as required (15-20%); this means the remote position is to be based in or around the Boston, MA area.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design of underground transmission line projects with a team of engineers and designers.
- Design complex underground transmission line systems, including duct bank design and cable pulling calculations.
- Coordinate with cable suppliers to specify line components.
- Oversee the development of construction specifications and drawings as required per project.
- Perform QA / QC reviews of all work product.
- Perform site visits when necessary.
- Provide mentoring to junior team members.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals.
- Interface with clients engineering groups and project management teams to provide regular and timely updates.
- Participate in the preparation of training materials.
