Role Summary
The Welty e4b Internship | Co-Op Program is designed to learn about life at Welty Energy and help us assess candidates’ abilities and fit within the company. Interns and Co-Ops work on a broad range of projects, within the company. Interns and Co-Ops routinely accompany our managers to projects and observe client meetings.
In addition to gaining experience during the program, Interns and Co-Ops have several opportunities to meet the team who make Welty e4b so successful. By the end of the Internship | Co-Op Program candidates will have had the opportunity to develop a strong familiarity with Welty e4b, its team, and the local community.
All students may apply for Internship or Co-Op positions. Welty e4b conducts interviews year-round, attends several college career fairs in the fall and spring.

Key Role Responsibilities
- The employee is responsible for supporting assigned projects and/or teams from the estimating phase through project completion.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Conducts actions in a professional and unbiased manner.
- Complies with all company and site policies and best practice standards.
- Continuously develops proficiency and understanding in the role.
- Maintains a professional appearance and workspace.
- Participates in and complies with all company safety and quality programs and procedures.
- Utilizes relevant Welty/Welty e4b Technology to support all assigned responsibilities.
- Manage multiple priorities.
- Familiar with drawings and specifications and contractual documents.
- The use of analytical and observational skills.
- Enrolled in a relevant collegiate program.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
- May require periods of overnight travel.
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project demands.
- Normal office environment but may also be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).
- Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.
- Occasional activity: standing, walking, bending, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling, climbing.
