January 27, 2025 - June 13, 2025 Only
DESCRIPTION: Ability to teach multiple math subjects: Plan, implement and evaluate classroom instruction consistent with building and district curriculum. Report pupil progress to parents. Support programs and building/district in-service education programs. Attend building/district meetings and conferences as required. Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Washington state certification with Math endorsement. Ability to instruct all levels of math. Evidence of exemplary human relation skills. Evidence of exemplary organizational and planning skills. Evidence of the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work as a team player and understand the needs of high school aged students. Experience teaching math to high school students is preferred. Experience using Agile Minds Intensified Algebra preferred. Bilingual/blliterate (English/Spanish) preferred. Bicultural (English/Spanish) preferred. Trained in sheltered techniques for ELL students preferred. Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position. Requires prolonged sitting or standing.
