Salary: $22.45 - $24.83 per hour
DESCRIPTION: Assists in relieving supervisor of administrative details by performing a variety of office and secretarial duties, regularly and independently. Coordinates meeting arrangements, record maintenance and office procedures. Understands the confidentially and purpose of the department thoroughly. Bilingual preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent required. AA degree or equivalent in secretarial/clerical science preferred. Minimum of 2 years secretarial experience desirable. Excellent computer skills - familiar with district systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong computer knowledge required - MAC preferred. Bilingual preferred. Good human relations skills and organization. Able to work without direct supervision once tasks are identified. Flexible and adapable to change in routines. Able to deal with staff and public with courtesy and efficiency. May require prolonged sitting or standing. Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.
