Overview of the Position: Assemble several components into a final assembly using blueprints and or a set of instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble individual components into final assemblies following work instructions.
- Follow a set of written instructions and procedures without deviation.
- Handle parts and components carefully to avoid damage.
- Operate shop equipment safely
- Assist in other areas as required
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to keep up in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to stick with a task for long periods of time.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing sketches to determine dimensional requirements, and other special instructions.
Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
