Wendel is seeking an experienced and talented Healthcare Architect with relevant experience in healthcare programming, planning and design for hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare projects. The appropriately qualified candidate will be part of or responsible for projects that may be out of any one of our 16 regional offices.
We are seeking someone passionate about design, someone ambitious who is interested in advancing their career and growing in a practice area with dedicated healthcare leaders.

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients and internal teams to develop project strategies at all levels of detail including new construction and renovations.
- Lead projects through all phases, including design, fit-out planning, equipment planning, and casework planning.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Participate in select marketing and business development opportunities.
- Assist in proposal and interview phases to help win work.
- Actively seek new knowledge in healthcare facilities.
- Mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
Qualifications:
- Associated degree minimum with BA/BS in architecture or related field preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Licensed Architect is preferred but not required.
- Software proficiency using MS Office, Revit, and others
- Comprehensive understanding of model building codes and healthcare guidelines.
- Detailed, methodical, process-oriented, open to change, and motivated by innovation.
- Great collaborator and communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ambitious self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who strives for excellence.
- Career and leadership oriented.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000.
Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
