We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Structural Drafter to join our diverse and growing Structural Engineering team in our Rochester, Albany, or Williamsville, NY office.

Responsibilities: 

• Actively work on projects from concept phase to final design and through construction.
• Collaborate and share ideas with senior level staff on those projects.
• Assist with the structural drafting and layout of building systems/components in steel, concrete, masonry, wood, etc.
• Participate in project and team meetings.  

Qualifications: 

• Hold an associate’s degree with focus in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
• 5 -10 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and be detail oriented.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (REVIT and AutoCAD).
• Experience producing structural design construction document for building type structures (preferred).
• Experience developing Revit content including custom families (preferred).
• Excellent PC skills.
• Microsoft Office software experience required.
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the Engineering team.
• Ability to work on-site and travel if needed.

Hourly Range: $30.00 - $35.00  

Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The rate offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The rate offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.

Salary : $30 - $35
