Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Opening and Closing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant during closing hours. This is a key leadership role that requires strong management skills and a deep understanding of hospitality and food service industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the opening and closing shift operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Supervise and train 0perning and closing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Oversee inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including kitchen, dining area, and restrooms
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen management team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Assist with banquet events as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or food service management is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and vendors
- Experience in inventory control and managing costs
- Culinary background or knowledge is preferred but not required
- Previous experience as an assistant manager or similar role is a plus
